HyRiMO targets the development of a monolithic quasi-hypergolic injector for gaseous oxygen/methane Reaction and Attitude Control System (RACS) thrusters in the 200–500 N thrust class.

The project responds to growing European prime demand for non-toxic Methalox RACS, where reliable ignition remains the principal challenge compared to legacy hypergolic systems.

DeltaOrbit leads as prime and contributes resonance ignition technology, engine design, and test campaigns. Aenium (Spain) covers additive manufacturing of metal parts and process engineering, while deltaVision provides propellant valve development. The project is in its final phase. Initial de-risking and proof-of-concept hot-fire campaigns have already demonstrated stable pulsed operation with multiple consecutive ignitions, confirming the feasibility of resonance-based Methalox RACS thrusters.
