This pilot evaluated the feasibility of DeltaOrbit's resonance ignition technology in a 20–25 N gaseous oxygen/methane thruster intended for a commercial space station.

The station's propulsion baseline used toxic storable propellants, and the study explored whether GOX/GCH4 could replace them, offering simpler ground operations and the long-term prospect of on-board propellant regeneration from CO.

The work ran across five phases, from customer requirements through design, manufacture, and integration of an experimental breadboard, hot-fire ignition and start/stop transient testing, and joint evaluation of the results. It concluded with a delivered feasibility report assessing minimum impulse bit, ignition response time, and repeatability.
