MoToRIE establishes a cross-company Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework for iterative propulsion development.

The project uses DeltaOrbit's Cryogenic Propulsion Module (CPM) as its benchmark system and delivers a toolchain, a best-practices guide, and physical mass-flow control valves validated on that module.

DeltaOrbit leads as prime and is responsible for overall project management and systems engineering. deltaVision designs and manufactures the control valves. Replacing conventional solenoid valves and pressure regulators, these mass-flow controllers enable direct, closed-loop propellant flow management and feed back into the MBSE digital twin. The validated MBSE toolchain and companion guide are intended as a reusable foundation for future multi-company propulsion programmes.
